What a wonderful family this family truly is! I am so glad that our children have become such great friends and because of them, I have been able to grow a wonderful friendship with this beautiful expectant mom. So happy to be welcomed into their home and be able to capture everyone's excitement for baby #4!!

One aspect of this job that I would have to say is one of my favorites, is the ability to be a small part of a growing family each time I am invited to capture images of their new additions (or soon to be additions in this case). It seriously just seems like the other day I was taking maternity pictures of this big boy when he was in his mama's tummy! And now, he's about to be a big brother!! Oh the years go by sooo fast!! I had a blast spending time on this gorgeous overcast mother's day. Thankfully we missed the rain but we did get to do some singing despite the rain's absence. :)

The Signs of Spring

I can't say enough how much I enjoy living in the area we live in! We are so lucky to have a visual change in our surroundings when the seasons change and spring is definitely noticed around here. I was very pleased with the beautiful magnolias we were able to use with this gorgeous couple during their maternity session. The beauty from both the couple and their surroundings definitely complemented one another. Not to mention this couple was a joy to work with! Congratulations to you both on your upcoming arrival! Lovin' those early morning shots!

So I wish most people were morning people (I guess because thats what I am). Since my experience at the studio I first worked for, I learned that early morning shoots always get the best kind of light. It has always been the time I love shooting the most! Well had a family portrait session last weekend where the family was happy shooting early and I was very pleased with the areas they suggested for their family pics!
